Just over a year ago, exactly a week before the first lockdown we launched our first apartments in Teddington, which is 12 miles south west of central London. Now, one year on The Sunday Times has caught up and named it the best place to live in London.
It’s no surprise to us. We’d already clocked the quaint high street, tree-lined streets, the lush riverside views and pathways, the 33-minute direct train from Waterloo, the 1,000 acre Bushy Park and the unbeatable options for outdoor exercise. Then there are the equally delightful Richmond, Kingston, Hampton Court and Twickenham all within easy reach.
It’s family-friendly, leafy and safe with great schools. There are lovely riverside pubs and restaurants such as The Anglers and The Wharf, as well as a ‘no clone zone’ High Street. The Edwardian architecture of much of the town centre is host to a number of creative independent businesses such as Well Bread, Woof Coffee, The Fallow Deer and Sidra.
Our Teddington serviced apartments are in the best location in Teddington if you’re looking for a quiet, residential spot that’s just 5 minutes from everything; the train station and town centre to the south, Bushy Park to the west and the River Thames to the east.
Our modern serviced apartments feature balconies overlooking the courtyard and attractive landscaped gardens. Parking’s available on-site and underground with step-free lift access.
Apartment features include a coffee machine, 70 mbps Wifi, and a 49 inch Smart TV.
